Cam-whore
Looking or hearing this word being used so freely makes me feel very very uneasy. This discomfort has been brewing inside my chest like a heavy weight whenever it is mentioned or even blogged about, and I try hard not to tell that person off.
But now I don't think it should be kept in any longer. The truth has to be told!
So often I wonder why people use those words to describe themselves when taking pictures.
A whore is one who provides sexual acts, services.. for a fee. They are selling themselves. They have no sense of self-value. You can call that a prostitute, slut. Both are degradaratory terms. A cam whore? It is the same, only a DIFFERENT means of selling yourself which is over the camera. That's what it really is.

I already feel sick, reading these words. I shall stop this post already. I urge you, to choose your words wisely and do not conform to using degrading and eroding words in your blogs or in conversations with friends.
Yes, I know.. you can tell me that the term has evolved... it means being a poser, it doesn't mean selling myself to other people... call me conservative - but you must know the origin of the word.
Dear readers, I sincerely hope that after reading this you will be sensible knowing what to do. There are so many different vocabulary to use when you want to tell people you like to pose to the camera.
